Awesome! Podium for Andreas Stjernen at his home hill in Trondheim

Today`s competition was really superb: ideal outer conditions and high-quality jumps by many athlets. But in the end, only one can stand at the top. And once again that one was called Stefan Kraft from Austria. With jumps on 138,0 meters and 142,5 meters (total score: 302,0 points) he won through the other jumpers. Third became is constant duelist Andreas Wellinger from Germany (first round: 133,0 meters, final round: 141,5 meters, total score: 289,6 points).

Wait a minute, was the second place forgotten? No, but this results deserved an extra line. Because finally a Norwegian jumped on the podium again! The last podium in an individual competition was on January, the 15th in Wisla/POL by Daniel-André Tande. So it`s really awesome that Andreas Stjernen became second (fisrt round: 138,5 mters, final round: 138,0 meters, total score: 294,3 points) tonight. This result is very special for another reason, because Trondheim is the home hill of Stjernen. And to be on the podium in front of your home crowd is the best. But also the results of the other Norwegian Eagles are very good. Johann André Forfang became 6th (total score: 281,0 points) with jumps on 135,5 meters and 136,0 meters. His teammate Daniel-André Tande landed on place 10 (first round: 127,0 meters, final round: 132,0 meters, total score: 261,3 points). On place 14th (total score: 254,8 points) landed Anders Fannemel with jumps on 128,0 meters and 129,0 meters. Four places behind him is Joakim Aune (first round: 126,0 meters, final round: 130,0 meters, total score: 250,2 points) placed. Halvor Egner Granerud, who replaced Tom Hilde, became 22nd (total score: 246,7 points) with jumps on 133,0 meters and 125,0 meters. A bit disappointing is the 29th place (first round: 126,5 meters, final round: 121,5 meters, total score: 233,8 points) of the man with the mustache, Robert Johansson.

In the Raw Air Tournament standings has also done something: Forfang improved from place 6th to 5th and Tande from place 16th to 14th. Tomorrow the athletes take the last stage of the Raw Air: Vikersund. Instead of the scheduled qualification there is an individual competition as compensation for the cancelled competition in Lillehammer. Start is at 16:30 (CET) for all jumpers, because there will be only one round.
