The name "Raw Air" was program, because the wind conditions were changeable and at the final round came the fog, as usual at Holmenkollen. Therewith the Austrian Team with Michael Hayböck, Manuel Fettner, Markus Schiffner and Stefan Kraft got along best (total score: 999,7 points). The second place (total score: 987,2 points) went to Markus Eisenbichler, Stephan Leyhe, Richard Freitag and Andreas Wellinger from Germany. The Polish Team with Piotr Żyła, Kamil Stoch, Dawid Kubacki and Maciej Kot jumped on place 3 (total score: 986,7 points).
The Norwegian Eagles Andreas Stjernen, Robert Johansson, Daniel-André Tande and Johann André Forfang have scraped past the podium. Just 3,6 points deficit to Poland. The third place was definitely possible.

So let´s have a closer look on the jumps. The most stable jumps has shown Johann André Forfang. In both rounds he landed on 127,5 meters. This underscores his strong form, but unfortunately not like the other three. They had one good and one worse jump. Andreas Stjernen jumped as first one on 131,5 meters and 122,5 meters. His teammate Robert Johansson as second landed on 114,5 meters and 131,0 meters. Daniel-André Tande, actually the most reliable, but lately he has to escape unscathed in every competition. Just like today - Tande as third on 121,0 meters and 131,0 meters.
You can see if every four would have shown two strong jumps the team would have been on the podium. One will be curious what the Norwegians will show tomorrow in the individual competition, which starts at 14:15 (trial round at 12:30, all times CET).
