Raw Air Tournament - Qualification in Trondheim

The initiators of the Norwegian 4Hills have definitely choosen with "Raw Air" the right name, because as is usual it was really windy in Trondheim. There were often short breaks due of the wind conditions. But at the end all athelets were safe down the hill.

The Norwegian Eagles did a really good job and have been all qualified for tomorrow`s individual competition.

2. Andreas Stjernen, 139,0 meters (total score: 144,5 points)

4. Johann André Forfang, 140,0 meters (total score: 137,4 points)

13. Halvor Egner Granerud, 131,0 meters (total score: 120,3 points)

17. Anders Fannemel, 126,5 meters (total score: 116,4 points)

19. Robert Johansson, 125,0 meters (total score: 116,3 points)

28. Joakim Aune, 125,5 meters (total score: 111,2 points)

Sole exception is unfortunately Daniel-André Tande with his really short jump on only 113,0 meters. Luckily he is prequalified, because the 47th (total score: 97,1 points) place wouldn`t have been enough. Tande also further fall behind at the Raw Air Tournament standings: from place 14th to place 16th. That means he can`t scoop anythingmore. That`s really disappointing. But on the other hand is fortunately Johann André Forfang on place 6th. The podium is for him already too far away, however he can improve by a few places. You will see tomorrow. The competition starts at 17:00 (CET).

UPDATE: The organization of the Raw Air Tournament has announced that yesterday`s cancelled individual competition in Lillehammer will be held in Vikersund. That`s the new timetable:

01 The scheduled qualification on Friday, the 17th at 16:30 is replaced by a one round competition. All athletes will start, because there will be no qualification.

02 The training on Saturday, the 18th is replaced by a qualification for the individual competition on Sunday, the 19th.

03 The team competition starts on Saturday as scheduled at 16:15.
