This qualification was a very special one, because it was the first one of the Raw Air Tournament and compared to the 4Hills Tournament does every qualification count into the overall standing. To the point you have to do your best jump.

Tonight the Norwegian Eagles have shown good jumps. Best man was Andreas Stjernen on place 10th with 126,0 meters. Close behind him his teammate Johann André Forfang as 12th (123,5 meters). Followed by Joakim Aune on place 17th (124,0 meters), Robert Johansson with 122,0 meters on place 22nd, Daniel-André Tande with the same width was as usual prequalified, Tom Hilde jumped with 124,0 meters on place 29th and Joacim Ødegård Bjøreng became 50th (113,0 meters).
Unfortunately three one have been disqualified because of their suits. So we won`t see Anders Fannemel, Halvor Egner Granerud and Marius Lindvik at the individual competition on Sunday. But these aren`t the only one. The jumps of Fredrik Bjerkeengen (58th, 107,5 meters), Richard Haukedal (61th, 107,5 meters) and Sigurd Nymøn Søberg (63th, 107,0 meters) weren`t good enough to be qualified.
From 13 eagles are the half qualified - a satisfying opening of the Raw Air. But first a team competition take place tomorrow at 16:15 (CET).
