What an exciting competition toady. So many have shown strong jumps: Poland, Austria, Germany and not to forget Norway. But before we have a closer look at the results of our Norwegian Boys congratulations to the Austrian Stefan Kraft to gold (total score: 279,3 points). With two jumps on 127,5 meters he secured his second World Championship Title in Lahti. Silver goes again to Andreas Wellinger from Germany who has shown strong jumps on 127,5 meters and 129,0 meters (total score: 278,0 points). And Piotr Żyła from Poland has jumped with 127,5 meters and 131,0 meters to bronze (total score: 276,7 points).

And in today`s individual competition at was a joy to watch at the jumps from the Norwegian Eagles. All four under the top 15. The best results at the World Championship in Lahti. And best man was again Andreas Stjernen (total score: 276,1 points). He missed by a hair's breadth the bronze medal. Only 0.6 points (!!) separate him from Polish Żyła. The strong jumps from Andreas on 129,5 meters and 129,0 meters were really medals suspicious.

Right behind Stjernen landed Anders Fannemel on place 5th (1st round: 123,5 meters, final round: 127,0 meters, total score: 268,8 points). After yesterday`s decision by head coach Alexander Stöckl were all eyes on Daniel-André Tande. After his first jump on only 121,5 meters you maybe were disappointed and for sure that wasn`t the jump Tande wanted to show. But in the final round he has shown what he is made of and jumped on 129,5 meters. That means a really good 10th place (total score: 261,3 points) at the end. Now to the last of the 4 musketeers: Johann André Forfang has shown real good jumps, too. In the first round strong 127,0 meters. In the final round he lost a few meters and landed at 122,5 meters. Anyway still a good 12th place (total score: 259,9 points).

And that is for sure, today`s result are a very good omen for the team competition on Saturday (trial round: 15:15, 1st round: 16:15, CET). The Norwegian Boys can definitely jump for a medal. Good luck!
