Today it wasn`t easy to jump at the large hill: changing winds and sleet. But one Norwegian could deal with it very well: Andreas Stjernen became second with a strong jump on 125,0 meters (tomorrow`s bib number: 39). Yes! A really good sign for tomorrow.

First and foremost because the other three have weakened. Anders Fannemel jumped on 116,5 meters and got bib number 31 for tomorrow. His Teammate Johann André Forfang, who performed very well at the individual competition on Saturday with a 7th place, didn`t show his total potential. He landed a bit too early on 114,5 meters (tomorrow`s bib number: 23). But you know there`s always some room for improvement. So qualification is hooked up and now focus on the first competition at the large hill.
Usually there are always just good and pleasant words to say about Daniel-André Tande. But unfortunately his start at the World Championship wasn`t very well and in yesterday`s training he jumped really poorly: 103,0 meters, 114,5 meters and 121,5 meters. Nevertheless head coach Alexander Stöckl has chosen him over Robert Johansson, who showed solid jumps on 120,0 meters, 118,0 meters and 126,0 meters. But its 113.5 meters (tomorrow`s bib number: 48) of today aren`t very promising. It remains to be hoped that Tande can fulfill the high expectations to him.
The competition at the large starts tomorrow with the trial round at 16:30 and one hour later with the first round (all times CET).
