What a tough competition at the normal hill (HS 109 meters). It was for every athlete difficult to jump, because the wind was really changeable. One got upwind and the next jumper backwind. It even has caught the best.
With these difficult wind conditions got along best Maciej Kot (1st round: 108,5 meters, final round: 110,5 meters, total score: 256,2 points) from Poland ahead the Austrian Stefan Kraft (1st round: 106 meters, final round: 107 meters, total score: 252,2 points) and Andreas Wellinger from Germany (1st round: 99 meters, final round: 112 meters, total score: 240,8 points), who improved sensational from place 16th to place 3rd.
Of course, there was a new hill record too, because it was the first World Cup on this olympic hill: 113,5 meters jumped by Stefan Kraft during the qualification. Also the Norwegian Team had to fight with the wind conditions.

Daniel-André Tande profit at the first round from the upwind and jumped on 111,5 meters - 2nd place before the final round. Then he got nearly the same conditions like the German Andreas Wellinger, but unfortunately Tande has left a few meters and landed with 104,5 meters on place 5th (total score: 238,8 points). Nevertheless he can be really satisfied with the two competition days in Pyeong Chang.
As well as Robert Johansson, who became like yesterday 10th (1st round: 102,5 meters, final round: 111,5 meters, total score: 224,6 points). And it`s going on with the good news, because Halvor Egner Granerud and Andreas Stjernen placed themselves among the top 20. Halvor has shown two stable jumps on 102,5 meters and 104,5 meters and became 16th (total score: 216,4 points). His teammate Andreas showed similar good performances (1st round: 100,5 meters, final round: 102,5 meters) and can enter place 17th (total score: 215,9 points) in the books.
Now it`s time to recharge the batteries until the World Championchip in Lahti starts on Friday, the 24th February.
