Winner of our hearts: Daniel-André Tande!

What a heartbeat final at the 65th Four Hills Tournament: the Austrian Michael Hayböck is ahead of Piotr Żyła from Poland. Then nearly everyone at the Paul-Außenleitner Hill looks upwards, as Daniel-André Tande is announced as next jumper. Almost everyone crossed his fingers for him. Shortly after his take-off it seemed like he has caught a gust of wind, because his left ski came off. Suddenly, a moaning went through the crowd, because Daniel-André oscillates uncontrolled in the air. Everyone seems to be holding his breath and staring to the hill with an expression of shock and fear. Surely a few hearts have certainly been exposed for a moment and probably everyone has already seen him crash. The relief was to be noted in the whole audience as Tande prevents with an acrobatic performance a fall and landed safely. And if this moment of shock isn`t enough you realize at the same moment that his tournee victory is gone. And with the images from the mixed zone, hardly anybody remained unaffected when Daniel-André crouched like a pile of misery and also his tears flow. What a blessing he really had, one realizes only, when you know that the binding of his right skies has disengaged and that really could have been backfired.

After a short break the Pole Kamil Stoch jumped to 138.5 meters and securing both, the day and overall victory. Congratulations at this point to the more than deserved victory of the 4 Hills Tournament. Even if the 22-year-old Norwegian has missed the overall victory, he is still third on the podium. And at the award ceremony Daniel-André beam with joy.
