Even today was again the most beautiful ski jumping weather with bright sunshine and blue sky. The arena of the Schattenbergschanze was filled to the last place and over 25,500 spectators provided a phenomenal atmosphere with flags, horns, rattles and cheers. And there were a few good jumps to cheer, as Daniel-André Tande, the Austrian Stefan Kraft (1st round: 139 m), Kamil Stoch (POL, 1st round: 137 m) or the German Markus Eisenbichler (1st round: 135 m ).

Daniel-André Tande showed again two strong jumps (1st round: 130.5 m, final round: 138.5 m). Unfortunately he missed quite close the podium, but for the overall standing of the Tour is everything still up in the air.
The other five are still searching for their form. Andreas Stjernen and Anders Fannemel have only entered the final round through the Lucky Loser regulation. Tom Hilde and Robert Johansson even lost their K.O. duel and missed the final. Hopefully this isn`t an omen for the second stage in Garmisch-Patenkirchen.
Small note at the edge ... after Tom (1st round: 121 m) had lost his duel distinct against the Slovenian Peter Prevc (1st round: 135 m), he congratulated him by raising Peters arm. What a nice touch.
4. Daniel-André Tande (total score: 295,4 points)
19. Andreas Stjernen (1st round: 126 m; final round: 133 m: total score: 266,0 points)
28. Halvor Egner Granerud (1st round: 124 m; final round: 122m; total score: 247,8 points)
30. Anders Fannemel (1st round: 128,5 m; final round: 120,5 m; total score: 246,7 points)
Before you celebrate into the new year you can watch the qualification in Garmisch-Patenkirchen at 14:00 (CET).
