The last competition before Christmas was a feast, because we saw two new hill records - both in the first round. The Polish Kamil Stoch jump on 143,5 m, but only one minute later the outstanding Slovene Domen Prevc jumped half a meter further on 144 m.
And then in the final round BOOM ... Daniel-André Tande, as penultimate, jump even half a meter further on 144,5 m. But unfortunately he couldn`t stand it. Oh man, a Norwegian hill record in Engelberg would have been great. Nonetheless Tandes jump was a sign of esteem - even if he fall back to place 11th by his fall.

In the end once again Domen Prevc (SLO) was the winner in Engelberg with a total score of 305,9 points (1st round: 144 m, final round141,5 m). Kamil Stoch (POL) jumped on second place (1st round, 143,5 m, final round: 141,5 m, total score: 293,8 points) and the Austrian Stefan Kraft got the third place (1st round: 138,5 m, final round: 138 m, total score: 283,1 points).
In other ways as well today`s competition was a good one, cause with Daniel-André Tande on place 11th (1st round: 139,0 m, final round: 144,5 m, total score: 274,0 points), Anders Fannemel as twelfth (1st round: 135 m, final round: 135 m, total score: 272, 7 points) and Andreas Stjernen on place 17th (1st round: 128 m, final round: 137,5 m, total score: 263,0 points) three Norwegians were among the top twenty. The good results of Tom Hilde as 20th (1st round: 130,0 m, final round: 134,0 m, total score: 260,1 points) and Robert Johansson as 23rd (1st round: 131,0 m, final round: 132,0 m, total score: 255,9 points) top off the competition.
