The view over Engelberg from the hill was great, but the wind wasn`t very well minded with the jumpers. They had to struggle with tailwinds. But one didn`t seemed to mind very much though: the Austrian Michael Hayböck won the competition with jumps on 138 m and 134 m (304,7 total score). Second was Domen Prevc (SLO) close behind with 301,6 points (1st round: 132 m, final round: 137,5 m). The third podest finish went to Andreas Kofler (AUT) with a total score of 293,7 points (1st round: 128 m, final round: 139,5 m).
Currently the best Norwegian Daniel-André Tande almost missed the podium very close with jumps on 132,5 m and 133 m (total score: 288,9 points). He also achieved the best result for the Norwegian Team. And Tandes jumps impress not only his fans and the audience, Sven Hannawald the new Eurosport expert as well: "He jumps with so much tactfulness paired with such aggressivity."

But the rest of the Norwegian Team didn`t impressed with such strong jumps: Tom Hilde became 27th (1st round: 125,5 m, final round: 124,5 m, total score: 257,7 points) and Anders Fannemel 29th (1st round: 131,5 m, final round: 114 m, total score: 251,2 points). Unfortunately Andreas Stjernen (1st round: 123 m, total score: 130,1 points) and Robert Johansson (1st round: 122,5 m, total score: 127, 7 points) weren`t qualified for the final round.
Tomorrow the guys get a new chance to end the Worldcup Weekend in Engelberg yet again satisfied. The qualification starts at 12:30 and the 1st round at 14:00 (CET).
